Re: Hey Van....so you're going to flush!!

Hey There!!

Yes I have heard many people talk about how beautiful Canada is - it sounds wonderful!!

Actually, it was scarey to eat. I was quite nervous!

Nervous when I started fasting - nervous when I stopped.

Sigh!! Always afraid of the unknown. I am learning to trust myself and the universe. It takes time.

My relationship with food has changed though and while I do enjoy eating - I stay much more connected with my emotions now - whether I have just eaten a meal or not. So food isn't the comfort it used to be in that way - so the emotional enjoyment isn't the same.

I find I eat less - maybe because I am not trying to bury an emotion?

With regards to Liver Flushing - you MUST be really well hydrated going into the flush. On my first flush - I did get really thirsty around 1am and at that point did down a glass of water and still had an amazing flush.

Some people keep sipping on their lemonade going into a flush.
Spirit posted recently and said that 90% of people will still have a good flush even if they eat going into a flush. So be confident of any small changes you feel a need to make. By the time you do this your body is going to be really ready!!

Unfortunately how you will respond to the flush is one of the mysteries of the universe. The next day varies from person to person and from flush to flush. You might like to have a look at the flush forum and check out a few of the posts. I was fine the next day on my first flush - my husband became one with the toilet bowl and managed to catch up on a lot of reading. My second flush I was fine too. Hubby went into that night. Maybe if you are fasting you only have flush stuff to pass - so you don't end up spending so much time on the loo.

Most people need to be close to a toilet once they start taking Epsom Salts .They pull alot of water out of your system and you get the runs.

Since I had found passimg regular BM's and mucoid stuff easy and regular on the fast, I cut the amount of Epsom Salts back to between 2-3 tablespoons, because I didn't think I would need so much encouragement to go!!

Mm! No other thoughts spring to mind right now!

Will post if they do.

Love and Light

Donna
