Yeah, it is a tough one. I spoke to a nutritionist too and he said that any fasting over 5 days was extreme and too tough on the body.

He doesn't want me to even consider flushing again for 3 months!

He says all these things without having a clue as to what I was like before, without knowing how I have fasted and without asking me what my experience of the fast was and without having fasted for more than five days himself.

So many people react to this fast as though I have weakened my body or damaged my system or something and like I need recovery time. I just got healthier and healthier. I look so much healthier, I feel so much healthier. I had tonnes of energy while I was on the lemonade cleanse.As far as I am concerned and going by what my body is telling me, I upgraded all my systems to varying degrees by allowing them healing time.


To the best of my knowledge you can not fast out liver and gall stones either - only flush 'em or try and break them down with herbs and the like. I ended up doing 3 Liver Flushes on my 28 day fast the last one accidental - my body's response on day 30 to the switch from water melon juice to carrot juice. My system just dumped everything including around 7 large stones - the largest of which was 4cm by 3cm. I seriously don't think another 12 days of fasting would have made those disappear. I also think I still have more in there and plan more flushes.

I am sure I have read of people flushing at the end of 40 days on this site and getting loads of stuff out.

Will see what else turns up.
