Re: Six reasons why Moreless should be reinstated!
Good Morning All,
My sister, age 67, had routine "over-age 50" medical tests run. She, as usual, expected good results. No health problems in the past. She was on absolutely NO medications, never needed a doctor beyond a slight infection here and there which
Antibiotics quickly cleared up, no hospital stays, etc etc. Praise, the Lord, my family has been quite healthy.
However, BAM! ...her doctor called her the morning after the tests (not the nurse but the doctor called her) and told her he was admitting her to the hospital immediately! Her red blood count was 18,000 not anywhere near the 150,000 to 350,000 count it should have been.
She spent 6 days in the hospital while they ran tests and ruled out everything from luekemia to a sinus infection. It had the entire family concerned.
Turns out it was the aspirin-a-day her doctor had recently put her on. How many 100's of 1000's of people take an aspirin every day?!
MORAL of the story: Not everything works the same for any two people. What is helpful and healing to one can be dangerous for another. I think this is something people just do not consider! I have many-a-time purchased a prescription because my doctor told me I "had to have it" and then upon reading up on what this chemical could do to my body--I immediately threw the prescription in the trash. I'd much rather take nature's black strap molasses and kelp then man-made aspirin or any other chemical.
