 It seems to me that what we are witnessing is a repeat of a brilliant person (with some hang-ups - but then WHO´s perfect? - or wants to be?) being most effectively silenced. Wilhelm Reich and Charlie Chaplin come to mind. 

Making a comparison to Wihelm Reich is ludicrous. The difference is that Wilhelm Reich actually knew what he was taking about. He was not making up his own fictitious science as he went along. And Wilhelm Reich worked to prove his invention and concepts with real research instead of saying just do it or you are against God. So to compare the two is really an insult to the name of Wilhelm Reich!
