Re: candida diet?

There is a good chance that if you start the diet and don't feel good that this is your problem. Usually you start to feel worse before feeling better. I have been doing the diet, herbs, antifungals, blood oxygenators for 6 weeks now. I do feel better. The head fog is better. Some days I have energy, but I still have times when I get really tired. Also, I keep having the rash on and off but mostly when I use the castor oil packs. I guess it's considered leaky gut and the toxins leave your body through the stomach. I've learned a lot about this so feel free to ask questions. I do know that you have to be very strict about the diet in the beginning. I'll just let you know that carrots are one of the veggies not allowed in the beginning because of the high Sugar content. Also, no fruits are allowed in the beginning. I have seen where some sites list that berries and green apples are ok in small amounts after the initial cleansing. I had a stool sample done and it came back with 3 strains of candida. My DOM told me I'll have to do this for 4-6 months. It's definitely not something you can do halfway if you want to get fully better because the candida is so hard to get rid of.
