Good Luck to you, but please read more here. You will gain some insight of the symptoms that may come your way after removal. I am one of those who did not experience major withdrawl symptoms, compared to many others, but keep in mind that just because it is gone, it's not over for most. I am at 4 months post removal. Had it for 6 yrs. The second IUD was only in a short time before the nasty side effects started. After removal, I had a lot of bleeding and major anxiety/panic attack. The anxiety only lasted for 3 days. Thank goodness. I think that for so many of us it takes time for our hormones to get regulated. Hopefully you will be one of those who will bounce back quickly. I am very grateful to have had mine out. I am a totally different person. Lost 15-20 lbs. sleeping well, better attitude, happier, etc. The bitchiness surfaces just before my cycle hits. That is something I never experienced prior to being an IUD user, but that I can deal with. It's the other crap women are dealing with that is scarry. Best wishes to you and I think you'll be very happy with your decision. Keep us posted on your healing.
