No, I would not pay $400 to see a dr. of chinese medicine. That is what they charge if they have an upper middle class clientele and can get away with such nonsense. Where the hell is this - Manhattan?

I have gone into Chinatown in a mid-sized North American city and paid, I think, about $30 a few years ago. In a better part of town it was only slightly more. It is fairly common to go into a chinese grocery store, and they will have a herbal section with a Dr. there. It is worth a try. If it is an old wrinkled doctor from China, so much the better. (Though not automatically!) Tweet
