Re: Samento and other anti-microbial herbals
I hope I don't sound like a broken record. If you have tried everything else, take a crack at Trad. Chinese Medicine. If you can find a highly experienced (the old ones from China are really good) licensed practitioner of TCM, they may or may not be able to make you feel like you died and went to heaven, but they have a whole different perspective on things and sometimes their approach works in difficult cases.
TCM is based on central organizing principles, which western medicine - including the modern versions of naturopathy - do not. Western medicine, including naturopathy, see you as a bunch of symptoms. TCM sees things in terms of energy.
I would never tell anybody not to go to a western MD or a western naturopath; I would tell them to see all kinds of practitioners if necessary and see if an integrated approach can't be taken.
There are all kinds of cases & situations where trad. chinese medicine is not effective, or only partly effective, but it often (I have found in my experience) tends to lead in the right direction instead of flailing around & panicking. I have had issues & challenges not helped by TCM, but my knowledge of the basic principles and my reading in TCM nevertheless helped me see things in a broader way.
I am hoping & praying for your good health, and soon.
Regards, Daizy.
