I do not need it, but many of my acquaintances who are not doing the whole protocol do.
Test available oil with refractometer, and use the best quality you can find, especially as regards getting a fuzzy reading.
Of course, take the smell, if any, of the possible oil candidates into consideration. One would not want to smell like Castor oil when in company, I presume??? Some quality olive oils are very distinctive in odor, also! With a bit of common sense and creativity, something effective and to one's liking may be accomplished???
