Re: Make Your Own Liposomal Encapsulated Vitamin C
Yeas ago had a conversation with Dr. Chen, creator and owner of Sunrider. He talked at length about infusing vitamins into food substances to make them bioavailable. Made tons of sense, and of course didn't know how to go about it. His products did have a far more beneficial impact at much smaller doses than other crummy off the shelf junk. I was particularly impressed with his B and C vitamins, and mineral supplements.
I learned of this protocol above, went out a few days ago and acquired the ultrasonic machine, and created some initial batches. Can say I like this, a LOT. Without benefit of science, it still has a strong sense of infusing, in this case 'C' into lecithin. The first dose knocked me backwards, and knew I had to back off the amount. Realized it may be the ingestible availability was much higher, hence a smaller amount was needed. Definitely knocked me on my arse and calculated a far less gram/dose and it was tolerated very well after that.
It definitely has a kick to the resulting concoction. And will be experimenting with other substances to infuse into lecithin too.
So far it is a big thumbs up.
