Hello! Howdy :)
I'm not sure if you remember me uny, but you've helped me with some questions before. Yep, I remember
I'm turning 22 years old and suffering from adult acne still, but slowly I have gained more and more knowledge on the triggers and the causes of my acne. Well, I don't know what knowledge you've gained, but we know the cause of anything coming out of the skin is because the body needs to get it out and the normal channels aren't dealing with it adequately.
I had a history of constipation, along with hemorrhoids (which you helped me cure before!). I am now regular and having healthy BM's daily, which is great. So you're now having 3-5 bowel movements daily (at least one for every major meal ingested). GREAT! But if it's less than 3, you could use a tune-up somewhere along the line (diet? liver? more colon work?)
Though I seem to be still having liver issues.
I've done thorough bowel cleanses including enemas, P&B shakes, IF#1 & 2, colonics, and about 17 liver flushes. That sounds pretty good...liver flushes serve to remove structural debris from the liver/gallbladder, but sometimes we need to do more than just remove the debris. Also, diet is the foundation of it all. So let's here ALL about your "typical diet" for a week. No 'fudging' - the total honest truth - all details, down to the last crumb of anything and everything...what percentage organic, raw, cooked, meat, dairy, grains, other...you know, the whole shebang. And how much pure water (distilled or RO filtered) are you drinking daily? If not distilled or RO, what kind are you drinking? Also, taking any "supplements"? or other meds/otcs?
Before I get to my acne issue, I have a question on a recent issue. I have been doing P&B shakes for quite some time, and when I have been doing a thorough cleanse (4-6 shakes a day), I included IF#1. One pill was all I needed to push all that fiber multiple times daily. I enjoyed IF#2 much better than P&B shakes, though after I had run out, I continued with only P&B. I had planned on weening off IF#1 and doing only P&B shakes, so I've been taking P&B about 3 times daily. One day I felt kind of a cramp and discomfort, and ever since then I've had a little discomfort on the very lower left area of my abdomen. It seems more like near my bladder. My guess is that maybe my body is tired of all this psyllium or bentonite, or the psyllium had irritated a section. I've stopped the P&B shakes, and the discomfort disappeared. Though if I take more than 2 P&B shakes again, I seem to have a bit of a discomfort again. Any ideas why this might have happened? Yes, standard P&B shakes are "too heavy" and "too harsh" for anything but occasional use (in my opinion). One can easily cause some fairly serious clogs with that much bentonite (not "diluted" with other herbs & fiber, like the IF#2). I'm glad you listened to your doctor within and lessened/stopped them. I think it'd be good now if you did a couple of colonics or several high enemas to ensure you don't have a 'mud clog'...and if needed, take IF#1 to ensure 3 bms daily for awhile....and 'see what you get'....and take it from there.
Anyways, that isn't very important. What's most important for me right now is to cure my acne. Ensuring that your digestive tract/colon is clear and functioning is the essential "bottom line basic" to ALL issues of health - acne included. Through months and months of researching and experimenting with food, herbs, and cleansing, I have gained some amazing healthful knowledge and benefits. GREAT!
Since bowel cleansing my digestion has improved greatly, and my BM's are very healthy. What's really helped my digestion was actually something so simple, chewing! After reading all the posts of you emphasizing the importance of chewing solids to liquid, and chewing juices to use my salivary enzymes, I have become a chewing machine! I can really tell a big difference in my BM's since chewing, no more undigested veggies! Though the only problem is that everyone keeps asking why I eat so darn slow! FANTASTIC! Isn't it wonderful how simple logical truths make a WORLD of difference. I understand about the 'eating slow' thing...who cares about what 'they' say, anyway.
I'm not sure if you know much about acne and the causes, but I have narrowed my causes greatly. I know I don't have candida because I don't have any other symptoms, and I've always had good fermented veggies, and ultimately, I can tolerate fruits and fresh juices. Though certain fruit sugars do cause breakouts, which I'm thinking it is also my liver failing to convert the sugars properly. 'Could be, but I'm not so sure about that. There are zillions of people out there with seriously compromised livers that don't have acne. Let's keep thinking :)
Also, I've noticed recently since doing an awesome juice fast, I was practically clear of acne. This gave me a big clue that I'm having issues with some foods. Also I've noticed I breakout much less when eating vegetarian. Well of course, we're not meant to eat dead flesh and/or fluids from other animals....especially as poison laden as they are. Have you checked this out yet? http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1461893#i Be sure to read the link "101 Reasons I am a Vegetarian". It takes the body 4-6 hours to process and gain the nutrients from meat & dairy - and far less than an hour to gain MAJOR AWESOME nutrition & enzymes from fresh juices. The body spends 60-65% of ALL it's energy on the total process of digestion, detoxification, assimilation and elimination...cutting that time down while providing mega-nutrition via juices, means the body has 60% MORE energy to utilize for healing (AND all that super-premium fuel)!
Now, the clear known issues I have is with the digestion of fat. Most of the time I can avoid certain breakouts, especially whiteheads. Please describe your definition of 'whitehead". Size, shape, hardness, do they break as 'liquid pus', 'fatty white fluid", "fibrous white stuff", "solid lumps", any odor? When I take too much of a certain fat, even healthful fat like olive oil, I would breakout in whiteheads almost immediately. Roughly I know how much I can tolerate plant oils, like olive and flax oils. Though I seem to be completely intolerable to certain saturated oils such as coconut oil, nut oil, and fish oils. This is frustrating because I can't really eat any fatty nuts like walnuts and brazil nuts, nor can I use coconut oil. Describe a "break out", and how long after eating healthy fats does it take for the break outs to occur. AND are we talking organic "good fats" or non-organic "good fats"?
I'm pretty sure anything to do with fat has to do with the liver.Yep. So I'm pretty certain I have a clogged liver issue. Well, after 17 flushes, you shouldn't have a clogged liver, but it's certainly possible. As I mentioned above, it may be that your liver needs more than just getting out the debris. I have been flushing every 2 weeks, and I have tried castor oil packs as per your recommendation. Though I have discontinued it and have done some hot and cold hydrotherapy instead to help circulate blood into my liver. Hot/cold is awesome! The reason why I had stopped castor oil packs was because, like I mentioned before, any excess oil will and did cause whitehead breakouts. Castor oil packs caused 'whitehead breakout'? Hmmm, there was no other ingested oil variables involved?
I've had periods of nearly no stone flushes, and periods of huge stone flushes, including a few done recently along with colonics, which really showed some big stones. Now I begin to wonder... how many stones can the liver possibly hold?? Thousands, and the liver can make new ones fairly quickly.
I haven't yet done coffee enemas, but I'm getting ready to do them now that I got some organic coffee. Fantastic!!!!
What is your insights and recommendations on what I should do now? Should I continue flushing? I'd give the flushing a rest for at least a month and start taking 1-3 tablespoons of organic ground milk thistle seed daily...and do the daily coffee enemas. The milk thistle is VERY soothing/healing for the liver (actually regenerates cells) and the coffee enemas do more than just stimulate bile, while they're retained they actually cleanse the blood of toxins & free radicals. Another thing that I'd suggest is Dr. Schulzes Liver Tincture (which has milk thistle AND bitter herbs to stimulate & heal the liver).
Thank you! You're welcome :)
Sorry for such a long post, but I got another quick question ;) more information is ALWAYS better than less.
I've recently got hold of Dr. Schulze's superfoods, and ever since I've been taking superfoods, even though I did not exceed my daily intake of healthful oils, I have been breaking out in whiteheads. I brokeout in places I rarely breakout as well, meaning this is a reaction to something I added recently (superfoods).
Would you have any idea why superfoods would give me such a reaction? I understand superfoods have nearly 0 fat, and I usually only get whiteheads from certain fat. It could also be an allergic reaction to certain ingredients, I'm thinking maybe something like purple dulse seaweed? Or it could be a healing crisis, though I doubt it would last this long.
I have stopped taking it and the wild breakouts have stopped. If you have heard of any other reaction such as this, or have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. People with various liver compromises have all different kinds of reactions to all different kinds of normal, non-reactive foods...so I'm not surprised about the Superfood - but I don't have enough information to do much surmising. Get me the information about your diet, and tell me about how much you exercise/sweat daily? weekly? And tell me how you react if I say "lymphatic system"? :)
Healthiest of blessings (good to "see" you again!) -
