I do agree with Tonys reply to your post; some excellent suggestions that I would advise you to follow if possible.
I am also very surprised to hear that Dr Fuhrman is unable to help you, because as you say, he is one of the Worlds foremost authorities on the Fast and Nutrition generally.
The historical perspective from a Hygienists viewpoint may differ slightly from Dr Fuhrmans approach.
If I were in your position, I would adopt Tonys measures, but in addition to that, it would be worth considering the following.....................
The body is constantly working to heal itself. It is a self-healing, self-maintaining, and self-repairing organism; so given the ideal "conditions", this healing is accelerated and assisted by the agencies provided by Nature, and that have a profoundly beneficial physiological/biological effect...................
#1. Eat only fruits/vegetables/seeds/legumes when genuinely hungry. Eating out of habit, or when not hungry only adds to and exacerbates the problem of ill-health. This could mean only one or two meals per day. Skip breakfast, as you do not need to replace calories that have not been burnt after a restful nights sleep. This also gives the digestive system a rest and makes it more efficient over time.
You are not nourished by the amount or quality of food that you eat, but by what you digest and assimilate............
Food combining will also help enormously...........
