HI all- just wanted to introduce myself . . . I have been reading posts and looking at this site alot in the last few days. I am an active 28 yr old F with (what I had considered) a very healthy diet. Last week an unltasound indicated I have gall stones, and now ofcourse they want to chop it out. That all just seems so incredibly archaic. I have always been REALLY distrustful of Western medicine but come on, this takes the cake. What kind of medevil practice just removes organs? So I am going to try the grapefruit/olive oil/ Epsom Salt thing on Friday eve.
As I look at all the recipes (all are similar) some say to try eating heavy cream as well so that the gall bladder contracts harder. I would love to hear who has done this, at which point you eat it (Before or after oil/grapefruit) and was it more painful than just trying it without?
Also, the different "recipes" all suggest different positions once you lay down. I would like to hear which postions you all have used and if anyone has found a postion to be more effective. Hoping to get all my research in so that I don't have to choke this caca down again anytime soon. Thanks for any advice you may have. : )
