Re: two loves

Yeah, I once dated a great guy.
The only thing wrong with him
was he hated to work. I could
not afford to be his girlfriend
although perhaps if I had won
the lottery...lol. As hard as it
was, I finally said YES to me
and bye to him.

I have dated some wonderful guys
after my marriage dissolved and
I know I was not looking for
perfection but a high degree of
compatibility.

I agree with your last sentence
where you suggest to yourself
that you really would like to
look for someone who you really
connect with in a meaningful
and compatible way.

It may be difficult to walk away,
but you will survive and if you
are not available to be in a
more complete, meaningful relationship,
then you are not looking and may
miss someone you might really like.

In between partners, I have also
found it a good time to get to
know myself more and to clarify what
I wanted and needed when seeking
a life partner.
