Thanks for the in depth reply. I must "admit" to feeling unsure about having an implant fitted as something deep within me just doesn't seem happy about this! No words can describe, just a feeling of no confidence.

Having read your reply an implant is no longer an option... I only needed the slightest nudge (by an experienced source) to push myself away from this course of action... so there we have it.

You say you have a temporary in place... is this a temporary bridge?

Having read about the maryland bridge it appears that they have metal wings which are bonded to the rear of adjacent teeth with resin... Are you not concerned that this metal will cause immunity disorder along the lines of any other metallic object within the mouth?

Is there a maryland bridge that uses non-metallic attachment wings?

The encore bridge sounds quite interesting too, it certainly is an interesting topic... Although perhaps a source of interest I would rather not have been forced into acquiring!
