I would gladly stand up for my rights , if I actually had any. That being said, I will fight to keep the freedoms and implied rights that I now enjoy, and am happy to push for more. I am a great believer in civil disobedience.

Women in particular are taught from the time they are born that conflict of any sort is bad, that we should be the perpetual peace makers, never show anger, and always be nice. I see this brainwashing everyday, I often see it on CZ. When this is the message that you receive from society and your own family, standing up for your rights or even fighting to gain those rights,is not on the radar.

There are people who will do anything for a quiet life, they don't speak up when freedoms are being eroded, they never say no to a government official, even if that official is wrong. These are the people that will make very content slaves.
