Re: Check out iodine supplementation (thanks Harmonic!)

Fibroid cysts? It's one of the main reasons my step-daughter is being operated on tomorrow-- a hysterectomy, (also with endometriosis :(

I was reading posts on the Iodine forum about women stopping the fibroid tumors a while back too. It now makes me sad when I see people putting their entire faith in Dr's "curing" them, thinking it's going to resolve all their problems. There's always alot more that is involved. I also learned through more research that the hypothalmus/pituitary have alot to do with endometriosis and the gonad hormones. The glands have been one of the main things the ND has been also working with me for-- hypothalmus/pituitary have to also be addressed with adrenal fatigue, not just the adrenals.

Unfortunately, she has let not only this, but other serious health stuff go on for some time now. I don't know how she's kept going as she has, but she knew from an ultrasound that her gallbladder is full of calcified stones too, plus she also has liver problems, and a hereditary kidney disorder. But, in spite all of that, she wouldn't be one that would have been willing to listen to the Alternative stuff that could have possibly helped. She is 32 years old. We did try talking to her about liver flushes, but it turned into a mess because of her mother going ballistic because of one bad experience she had with an Alternative Dr that probably would have scared me away too. I was fortunate to have found a good one right from the start.

They won't know for sure until they do the surgery tomorrow, if there is any malignancy- but she had to be on drugs to shrink tumors that were the size of golf balls before they could even do the surgery. They told her that if they would have burst, she could have bled to death. She's very anemic now from the bleeding that finally got her to go finally have it looked into to begin with. She's already had surgery before for the endometriosis that is all through her abdominal cavity. She chose to try to ignore it after that, until it's now gotten to this point. Robert Beck says people like that have a "death wish", and there's no convincing them of anything. They have to want to do something for themselves.

Iodine was one of the things I also had hopes for helping my stones to stop forming in the liver, but it didn't work for me like I've also had other's tell me they've had success with it in doing. The ND has wanted me to do the Iodine loading test too, but I've just done the patch test, and it disappears within 6 hours. It should be there for 24.

One of the other things that was found through a heavy metals urine test the ND had me do, is an extremely high level of Lead. I know to not attempt chelating that would stir up mercury while I still have the mouth mess, so I have also been using the ascorbic acid for Lead chelating. It didn't stop the stones from forming either :(
Neither did chanca piedra, neither did magnesium malate, and I discovered that taking the bitters WITH a liver that was chronically making stones- is painful!

With the Liver Flushes having to be done weekly for 2 years now, (plus killing lots of parasites) and feeling the stones in the liver and the congestion within a few days after flushing, I had almost resigned myself to the fact that I was just going to have to do Liver Flushes weekly for the rest of my life.

Almost a month ago now, I got the normal, large bunch of stones out of the liver, but the difference was, I immediately started on what clicked that the bile has to have in balance for the cholestrol stones to not form..the bile salts (ox-bile), phosphatylcholine, and pancreatin enzymes with the lipase.

Out of habit more than anything, I did a flush the week after like I normally would have done, and there were no stones! It was definetly not from having flushed all the stones out of there either.

Being faithful since then to always take the ox-bile, phoscholine, and pancreatin enzymes prior to eating, has seemed to make a big difference. I haven't felt stones at all in the liver, and I can feel the liver working now after I eat. One thing though, for the first couple of weeks, because the liver is actually finally working, I had to not be far from a toilet about 1/2 an hour to an hour after eating. But, when I consider what is taking place, that the cholestrol is being emulsified and coming out in the bile in liquid form (not clumping together and making stones), and toxins are coming out in the bile like they are supposed to be, and not backing up like they have been--I can live with some inconvenience as I'm getting things adjusted. It makes sense to me too, how the parasites/candida can't live in an environment with healthy bile.

I've also been finding information about how people that do have their gallbadders, that have the problem with digesting fats and have a bowel problem because of it, may want to put in a search on the internet for the bile salt connection with that too.

I haven't tried it yet, but Newport also told me about Amla, a naturally high source of Vitamin C you might want to check out too.
