Re: Vitamin C levels associated with stone formation in women

I keep away from ascorbic acid for many reasons, mainly because it is isolated from its enzyme complex and other factors like bioflavinoids, etc. Ascorbic acid to me is more like a drug than a vitamin. The vitamin would be in the food, and we're not intended to have so much of it as in the pills because food has the enzyme complex in it and all other supporting complexes that C needs to be effective.
