I use culture. Someone said the grains won't work with the coconut water. I'm new at this so I have no clue.
I have tasted coconut milk kefir at the health food store and like that the best. My attempt to make the coconut milk kefir last week failed miserably. I did not heat it, just poured the starter in. So this time I tried heating the coconut water slightly. I can see the bubbles at the top but the taste has changed only a little.
