I'm also interested in what Unyquity has to say about this, because if this is the case then I really don't see the point in taking something so hot, unless one likes torturing one's self.
I had assumed that the greater the heat, the more capsaicin present, therefore you get a greater benefit.
Perhaps something extremely hot is less effective because people would be less likely to take it as often as something less spicy, like Tincture #1?
Perhaps they benefit in different ways?
I read somewhere that you only get the medicinal effects and most of the health benefits from "cayenne" peppers specifically, not habaneros, bird peppers, jalapenos, etc. But, other sources use "cayenne pepper" as an umbrella term to refer to many types of peppers, including habaneros, bird peppers and others. Obvious contradictions.
