Re: my mom and her Alziemers

greetings Sara

Thank u for replying. I sure don't want to be scareing u with my mom's stories as I am sure it is horrifing for u or really anyone that this to could happen to them.

I know this is not about me, but what is best for my mom, I can't see how the nursing home would be better for her, with the low quality care, understaffed, overworked, underpaid people, all the sickness in there from both the patients and the workers, the food.

I do not get along with the rest of my family when comes to illness they bow to the man in the white coat and lick his shoes like he is god. When it comes to food they think it has nothng to do with health.
They want to put her in a nursing home and tommorrow they are having (family) meeting and I will be out numbered 5 to 1

They have not helped me or my mom in any way except 2 times early on they took her 2 the doctors and dropped her off at home with prescription drugs to take, which she never did. Now they are blaming her progression on me becuase she didn't take them.

I am sure my mom would rather stay at home and she will get no say so in the mattter if they decide tommorrow, which they will, to put her in a nursing home. And ,really I quess how would she know if she liked it or not if she didn't go there for awhile, maybe she would like the all the activity and people, I don't know it is hard so hard,
I to want what is best for her.

thanks so much Sara I wish u lived here
