I don't know how much you are paying for them but at GNC they cost about 19.00 (the digestive enzymes) and the probotics will cost about 8.00 on up depending on the billions of cells they contain. But when I mention the probotics I'm telling you what I know from experience not from what I've read in a magazine,but may be you need a different brand, I can't take any that have soy or sugar, everyone is different. But eating smaller portions maybe is not what you should be focusing on because it could be the sugar or another ingredient in the bread, if you eat the wrong thing in a small portion you can just as well have problems,( I know with me because I have TMAU symtoms sometimeswhen I eat certain things ans even in portions the smell will happen because of the choline) But your situation may be different.,  and I should mention that subway chicken breast sandwiches do contain sugar,(it's on the meat, and any honey breasted chicken sandwich ) all I can say is just use wisdom. And as you get better try different foods and see what you are able to tolerate.
