OK. So the examples were poor. Not unusual for me. Sorry.
It is still the environment that matters most. Very similar to opposing argument for Germ Theory. Even though a virus is not a germ, the same principle applies - in my mind.
In the case of something like Candida, you have said many times that the environment is important. For example, acid pH so that it does not misbehave.
In the case of virus, the immune system, the environment, must be strong enough or at least previously trained to destroy it. I believe that even anti-virals assist the immune system to detect and destroy; rather than destroying the virus outright.
I do understand that Andreas' dissertation can be deemed controversial; but it did remind me greatly of the ongoing debate regarding Germ Theory. And I am not wrong about the respect he has earned of his peers.
