These symptoms from Mineral Deficiency?
During the last 4 months, I've been on an elimination diet, trouble-shooting
food allergies and possible candida.
I've mostly eaten protein, rice noodles, coconut oil, no green veggies, virtually no potassium from dietary sources.
At various times during that period, I stopped ALL vitamin & mineral supplements.
My food log isn't conclusive, but during 3 distinct periods, I encountered the following symptoms:
dizzy, clumsy (dropping things), muscle tightness, severe back pain (and I don't have any back problems), stiff jaw, brain fog,
It seems like these problems occurred after 3 or 4 days of NO minerals, while spending 40 minutes/day in the infrared sauna
My other possibility is that it was a severe reaction to fermented foods/supplements which I was ingesting during that same period.
What's more likely?
Could this be a mineral thing?
I decided to stop with the sauna, and take 700 mg magnesium, 1000 calcium, 1 tsp potassium chloride from Morton's salt substitute.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
