The number of people abused in our society is mammoth. The media goes after effect and sensation and drama and no one brings up the reality of it all. It goes on because families do not know what to do about it and society just wants to blame, judge and incarcerate. Because that is simple. And black and white.

I told my sister her daughter was abused and she never brought it up again. Except for the black and white of the supposed attention we give to molestation - if we paid attention to abuse - molestation would happen very little be3cause we would cover and help the initial issues.
