About Chelation

Chelating agents bind with heavy toxic metals such as cadmium, lead and mercury so they can be excreted by the body. You can by chelating formulas over the counter. Chelation has been used successfully to treat arteriosclerosis for over forty years in the US, and can even be done intravenously in severe cases (say, someone wanting an alternative to bypass surgery).

Chelating agents also bind with calcium and reduce serum calcium level by excreting this mineral through the kidneys, preventing excess calcium from depositing in places it does not belong (like the joints).

Some chelating agents:

Alfalfa, fiber, rutin, selenium

Calcium and magnesium chelate with potassium

Chromium, kyolic, pectin and potassium

Coenzyme Q10

Copper chelate, iron, kelp, zinc chelate

There are lots of books and other info on the subject on the internet etc. If you hate cilantro (bummer, man!), I would suggest you look into alternatives.

Happy flushing!
