it seems though that i am about to throw in the towel on this marriage. i have spent months attempting to be introspective and to maintain the strength to bear this through. but. as far as i can tell the situation is utterly hopeless.
although she told me several months ago that she had been diagnosed with premenopause over 3 years ago, it is the only time she has mentioned it and she now refuses to even let me broach the subject, let alone consider any remedies or relief.
we have seen a marriage counseler/pastor who summed up our meeting by stating that although he generally tries to find a path to reconcilliation, he admits that he sees little hope for us.
maybe i am just tired. but i took his statement to heart and had to agree.
i have learned much about perimenopause in the past year and do admire you for having the temerity to overcome enough to maintain your caring for your husband enough to find solutions.
