I am having a period every 14-17 days. Last 5 days.

I have had a frequent period for about 11 months now. I've had vaginal ultrasound done and was diagnosed with cycts and fibroids. Every time I have a period I feel weak. Please help me as the homeopathic medication doesn't seem to be working and medical doctors wants me to take birth control pills to regulate my period. Is taking the pill safe? Tweet
