These are the tests I've had in the last two months:
1. Annual Pap
2. Blood Test (metabolic, thyroid, anemia)
4. Pelvic Ultra Sound (vaginal)
All of the above test results were "normal", leading my gyn to diagnose me with having an acute hormal balance episode---NOT perimenopause.
Is there another test I should request? How are your hormone levels tested? Is this something you have to request? Have you heard of the saliva test?
By the way, you asked if I was light-headed etc. Mainly, I feel like I'm on the first day of a VERY heavy period. I have a dull ache, but other than that I just feel like I'm going crazy and I'm kind of scared as the bleeding is increasing each day and I've been bleeding for about 60 days.
