Enamel Erosion

Hi, I used to brush with bi-carb about once or twice a week and never used anything else the rest of the time; just water brushing.

I stopped using Miracle-Mineral-Supplement some time ago because I couldn't reach any dose that didn't cause too much of a herx response.

I went on mouth washing with it for some time however (9 drops activated swishing for a minute). My teeth have become incredibly painful although no decay is present. The dentist tells me that the enamel is eroded from the teeth that hurt and said that although I can remineralise my teeth, enamel cannot be replaced. She suggests creating a composite to protect them. I've adamantly refused mercury filling. In fact I've been fighting the local dental clinic for 8 months to have them replace my mercury Amalgam with composite. 2 dentists agreed but the DHS (I'm receiving a pension and they fund the Community Dental Centre Dental Dept)have finally refused to do the replacement.

Does anyone have any contradicting data on the dentist's statement that enamel cannot be replaced?

I've been oil pulling for a year now and that hasn't achieved anything noticeable.

Thanks in advance.
