Please continue to pursue your course of investigating the relationship of the disease to the Mirena. I had lots of "unexplainable" symptoms after two trips to the ER: worse headaches of my life, EXTREME fatigue, heart palpitations, an upper respiratory infection that wouldn't go away for months, complete loss of sex drive, weakness and tingling on the left side of my body, tremor, the list goes on, currently most trouble is with anxiety (I've had it out for almost 3 months now). My hope is that her symptoms will subside with time now that the awful Mirena is removed. My symptoms actually got worse after removal before they got better. Please keep us posted and I hope the best for you, your wife, and everyone who has been affected by this horrible device.
