Re: How does Iodine affect Iron levels ?
I haven't been taking
Iodine supplements long enough to say I'm cured of anything. I'm experimenting and observing the results. The blood problem I have is a genetic one, so I don't think it can be cured as such, but it can be treated and the symptoms (such as anemia), can be mitigated. (I will add that this is the case so far, I can't see the future so I will wait, watch, and find out).
The research team that are studying my case have been studying this disorder for about 20 years now, and what has happened with me, since
Iodine supping, has not been seen before in anyone with this disorder. Understandably, they, like me, would like to look at this a while longer and see if the results carry through. There is another young man with the same disorder as myself that has volunteered to try the
Iodine supplementation, along with the companion supps (I gave the researchers a full list of what supps I take and how much), he has only been supplementing for about 2 weeks, so it is a bit early to tell what the results will be. But, I'm very excited about it :)
