Re: Personality changes and heart bypass surgery?

My SO had quad by-pass surgery in May '08. In Oct., 08, his personality began to change. He also became depressed. We had been together 3-1/2 years. He was 66 at the time of his surgery. Finally, he changed so much he broke up our relationship and began to do things completely out of character for him. He is a minister. Most people are horrified at the change in him for the worse.
Dr's are very lax and remiss for not warning patients that these personality changes can occur. It is as if someone else, a sinister being, is living inside his body. He doesn't even look the same out of his eyes. He barely speaks to me. It is as if he only casually knows me. He also had anger outbursts at work which before was unheard of. A COMPLETE personality change.
