Personality changes and heart bypass surgery?

I am wondering if anyone has heard of personality changes in people after bypass surgery. Someone told me that a relative of theirs, after bypass surgery became very agressive, not initially but over time. My husband had quadrupal bypass surgery 2 yeas ago and has become very detatched......... emotionally flat. I'm trying to work out if personality changes are common or is this just coincidence.
