My husband and I have used the peroxide. I remember the first time I used it, I must have had a bit of infection because it really bubbled and crackled and popped. I have some SSKI , we'll have to try that too.
The other thing he does that helps when he feels an ear infection coming on, is crushes garlic in olive oil, and saturates a cotton ball, and sleeps with the cotton ball in his ear.
Thanks for the info, we'll give the coconut oil a try too. My daughter that had the ear irrigation done at the Nurse Practitioner's office, complains about her ears itching alot too. She spent a year in Afghanistan, and noticed the ear wax/itchy problems just before she got back to the US.
