What if it were done on a smaller scale than in the diagram (and with distilled water), like with two jars and short tubing between, such that the electrodes are only about as far apart as when we use our CS generators?

That would be interesting about testing with concentrace ... I'd give it a try out of curiosity, but I don't have the means to test what does remain in either side. If someone out there does and gives it a try, let me know what you discover!
