Re: Please HELP! What do you think of my cortisol levels?
Hi Lolite:
Thank you for all your helpful information.
Sometimes my body temperature is below 98 or at 98. I thought I might have a thyroid issue yet the conventional md thinks I have a mental problem.
If you have any thoughts on these results, I would be interested:
TSH-THYROID STIM HORMONE
TSH 1.00 0.34-5.60 uIU/ml
FREE T4, SERUM
FREE T4 1.0 0.6-1.6 ng/dL
FREE T3
FREE T3 2.9 2.4-4.2 pg/mL
I have been getting better results adding salt to my water and eating protein. I try to excersize and still gain weight.
I dread the stress of the workplace and therefore lack an income stream at the moment. Dr. Lam on the CZ site provided a 15 minute consult with a consult with a nutritionist, yet that will require funds to follow the protocol. What I am looking for is a natural way to heal through lifestyle changes. another problem is my increasing fungal infections persisting....
I wondered about cortisol creams. Dr. Lam recommends otherwise. Dr. Borkin of Sabre Sciences also is selective about what creams to provide even upon having access to my saliva test. I would like to recover my oomf!
I listen to some New Age self help stuff and it says you create your reality. I wonder if I am simply wimping out with my AF.
Perhaps I need to embrace that I want to retreat from the harsh reality of the world.... Honestly for me the work world sucks! I never want to go back to work for cruel jerks ever again!
As for finding an actual board certified and registered doctor informed about Adrenal Fatigue, it seems there is very little hope here in Oregon. There is a Naturopathic College here yet I have found it to be poor quality and the supervising MDs/professors failing to be registered with the state which can present beaurocratic problems for me.
Ideally I would contact Dr. Richard Shames who Mary Shamon mentions in her Thyroid books, yet he costs a few hundred dollars for an initial phone conversation.
Well, I will do the best I can. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on my thyroid labs.
