If DocT was being honest and genuinely doing research, I find it very odd that someone of their "standing" within the health-field should "swoop" on a forum such as this, and make sweeping comments which have no basis in fact, and then just wanders off, after letting go with both barrels regardless of the consequences.
If the intention is to return and follow-up their original statement, then I would have no qualms on the matter, but the post could potentially have had adverse repercussions on those who read and believed this erroneous information.
I hope he/she returns and attempts to qualify what has been stated, but if not, then this was a highly irresponsible post.
