Fasting and too much weight loss too soon can cause Fatty Liver. Being a doctor of both alternatives and modern medicine, I can tell you that if you lose more than half a pound to a pound a week during a fast, you can cause harm to the liver.
Fasting causes your body to store fat, the most common place during a fast is the liver. If one fasts for lets say, two weeks and has lost 6 lbs, there is an average of about 2.7% of fat being stored in the liver.
It is not flushable- and can only improve with the correct diet.
Also, if one fasts and loses too much weight and then begins to eat again, if not careful you can cause more fatty liver as the body has been without food for a lengthy amount of time.
