--answer--I meant kelp suitable for human consumption-

Hi Mia Dearden,

Your question: So are you telling me that Maine Coast Sea Vegetables are misleading their consumers?

http://seaveg.com/chart.php

There is, of course, always going to be a difference of quality when we compare foods for human consumption and foods used as fertilizers and animal feed.

Answer: No, seaveg does not provide False info and does not Mis-lead their customers, but you have Failed to do your Homework and understand some Basics about kelp and all it's Different Varieties !

Sea vegetables and kelp are Generic names !

Ascophyllum nodosum is a Specific Kelp also known as Rock weed and or Norwegian kelp !

What they may call kelp in the link provided may be :

KELP (Laminaria digitata and Laminaria longicruris)

The Acosphyllum nodosum that I am talking about is:

Our milled Rockweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) commonly known as Norwegian Kelp, is a fine quality Food Grade product. It is also harvested in Iceland, using geo-thermal heat for low temperature drying, and is as well Organically Certified (QAI & TUN). Product consistency and availability is excellent. Some current ingredient applications are: herbal formulations, supplements, HBA products, animal feed. Whole-leaf Rockweed from Maine, certified organic (OCIA), is also available.

Learn to do your Homework before causing such a Fuss about something you do not understand, least it make you out to look like a Fool?

This is Why I keep repeating to you that the Devil is in the Details !

When we decide to spout off about something we may Lack understanding in, many times it may make us look like a Fool?

I do not think you want this?

Do You?

Cause and Effect !

Smile Tis your choice.
