Have you tried magnesium oil instead of oral supplements. I rub the magnesium oil directly on the bits that hurt, and the effect is fantastic, no more muscle soreness or stiffness. My skin absorbs the magnesium directly to the place where its needed without having to go through the stomach and bowel (which I have great trouble with). I have also tried Amino Acid Chelated Magnesium, and this has a lot less effect on my stomach, and doesn't give me the trots. (sorry TMI).
