I in no way want to speak for Thornsandnails, but I'll speak for why support his post.
Moreless presents his protocol and his ways of doing things as if it were the gospel. If you go against one of his teachings and you make that known either on his forum or even off his forum, he will usually make a post about you saying you are following Satan and the devil and you will remain Sick and Diseased.
Think of all the christians in the world. How many of them do you think know about calcium hydroxide and blackstrap molasses, etc? I would think it's a tiny tiny percentage, wouldn't you? If Moreless's ways are as important as he says they are, why do you think God has left all these Christians, most Christians, in the dark about this? Is it just that this tiny percentage that knows about it the ones that are more faithful and deserving of God's favor? Well this is basically what Moreless says, but I don't believe it.

Moreless has many of his followers so misled, that they too believe that if you don't follow exactly what he says, you are not following God. Refreshed and I had a discussion that included a lot of this in the thread below. She has conveyed to me many times that I will not get well, that I want to remain sick, and that I am not following God simply because I won't do exactly what Moreless says.

I didn't even know what pickling lime or calcium hydroxide was until I read it on the moreless forum about a year or so ago. But I've been a christian for over ten years. When I did find out what it was, I did research on it and discovered there was a whole lot of controversy about it. A lot of people saying it was extremely dangerous. Others saying they thought it was great, and very healthy and helped their health improve. I don't know who's right. I think there has probably been extremes of viewpoints on both sides (some people thinking it's better than it is and some people thinking it's worse than it is). But because my body has always been very fragile and reacts very strongly to things (and I read about Hopinso's experience with calcium hydroxide and others that didn't do well) I decided for me at that time, and my mind hasn't been changed just yet despite major prayer about it, that for me it was better to error on the side of caution and go with a less controversial form of calcium.

But I see what happens to people on the moreless forum
when they won't conform to doing the protocol exactly as moreless says, and I have had unbelievable things said to me when I said I wasn't ready to do the exact moreless protocol.


So, I believe the post thornandnails made about Moreless's commandments, is really not that far off at all, if even at all. His protocol has been made to be so important, that you dare not question it, or you are of Satan. Is that not ridiculous and very wrong to you?

I belonged to this church one time a few years back that my sister, dad, husband and I went too. Well, my husband and I received some unbelievable abuse there, even though we had done nothing wrong to bring on the abuse. Well, my husband and I left finally. My sister knew what happened, but never said much about it. She loved the preacher and the church, and so basically she ignored what happened to us for the most part. Then, she suffered some abuse by the same people my husband and I did years later. It was after that that she called and apologized to me for not standing with my husband and I when we got abused. She said she realized how wrong she was for ignoring it all now that she had suffered similar to us. But at the time she was blinded by her love of those abusive people. Have you ever heard that statement, "love is blind?" Well it's actually a very true statement when it comes to love of human beings. See you love Moreless, and that's fine, I have no problem with that, but because you love him so much, you have a blindness to his blatant errors that are very dangerous and harmful to people. Refreshed is in the same boat as you on this.


But I think it's very dangerous for anything other than the gospel to be made so important that if you don't follow whatever it is, you are made to feel like you are unrighteous and not following God.

I know you may not see these things now. Maybe you will later, like my sister came to see things later, for the sake of those being hurt around you. When my sister finally apologized to me for ignoring my husband and I's abuse, it meant a whole lot to me. Because part of our suffering over that abuse was that we felt alone and that no one else noticed and they all just continued to go to that church with great gladness as if there were no problems at all.
