Re: Hey Valerie...how about Ioway? Re: Colonics
Hi Uny, nice to hear from you, it's been a while. Oh boy, the number of practitioners in the middle portion of the USA is significantly under represented in the number of practitioners of colon hydrotherapy as compared to along our coasts.
Several years ago while attending a workshop for colon therapists in Atlanta one of the presenters had a slide with a map of the US and dots representing the locations where
colonics were being offered. It looked like a string of pearls in the states bordering the country with far fewer in the interior regions.
The dots in states along the Canadian border states were less dense than those along the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf coasts/Mexican border, but still greatly exceeded the density in places like Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska where there were practically none.
Now that was back in 2003 or 2004 I think, and a lot of new practitioners have entered the field since then, so I am sending out a request to other colon therapists I communicate with to ask for references for you and naturalgirl.
One problem though is that the increase in the publicity and popularity of
colonics has attracted some unqualified people without proper training and questionable motives (read this as $$$ greed) to the field. This makes it even more important to be careful and selective in choosing who you trust to provide this beneficial and valuable procedure.
I'll reply back when hopefully I have some references for you. Great to hear from you,
Valerie
