Re: theories on mirena-please add/dispute/continue

I'm thinking 2 & maybe 3, which may have caused 4, at least for me. I did natural family planning (charting cycles based on discharge) before having mirena, and I still was regularly ovulating with mirena and having regular cycles, only lighter. Also, I used to be on the bc pill Alesse (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel combo) for a year or so a couple years before going on mirena, and never had any major side effects, even though it took 1 1/2 years to react to mirena for me. Maybe this is the computer geek in me, but it'd be interesting to have some type of comprehensive anonymous computer survey on this site to try to figure out what us sufferers have in common in our backgrounds...?
