Activated charcoal is awesome. Don't use the tablets, no guarantee they will dissolve. I don't bother with the capsules, I buy it in bulk (large jar). I put a rounded to heaping teaspoon or soup spoonful in about half a glass of water, Stir well and chug it down (It will feel slightly gritty in your mouth). Then chase with at least a half glass of plain water. I do this if I start passing gas a lot (usually a sign my body is working up to the runs). If the gas is completely gone a couple of hours later I know I am home free. If there is still any gas at all, I take a second dose. I have never needed a third dose.
