I also talk with my 12 year old about that stuff and WHY I don't allow her to wear mini skirts and short, shorts or low cut. She understands why and sometimes will even police me by saying, "mom that shirt is cut low." when I try something on in the store!

I haven't told her yet about the date rape thing. Its hard for me to talk about it at all.I don't feel ready or that I should anyways.
I so felt like damaged goods until hubby convinced me otherwise. That date rape drug is so powerful. Its good that it takes allot of your memory away as I had very little recollections at all about it even the day after. I was so clueless and put myself in a very dumb situation and that's where the self blame comes in. Violent rapes, well I just can't imagine how devastating that could be.

Just want to add one more thing. My husband was very understanding and maybe because as a young kid he was molested by a GIRL! Yes, its more rare but it does happen.
