Re: Feng shui and the toilet seat

The idea of "money flushing down your toilet"
is an old Chinese superstition.
Sometimes, in order to understand Feng Shui, you need to
consider the source. Thousands of years ago, bathrooms/toilet rooms were not inside the home, they were basically outhouses.
As you know, these are not very sanitary, or pleasant smelling places. The reason to keep toilet seat down is simply for sanitation. In fact, each time we flush, lots of "unmentionables"
are released in the air, so keeping the seat down to flush is
a good idea. It is ideal to try to keep, our now indoor bathrooms, as sanitary and clean as possible. It doesn't matter
what the "energy map" is of bathroom since we do not spend
significant amounts of time in it to absorb any. What is important is that the potentially "unsanitary" air does not mix with the nourishing Qi of the rest of the home, especially the
kitchen or bedroom, so keeping the door closed or slightly closed
is a good idea.

Re: windchimes located indoors are not recommended since they
can cause harm and encourage ghosts.

You may be experiencing $ difficulties for a number of other reasons, not because you are flushing your toilet.
