It is better if you keep the toilet seat down and also keep the door closed because the negative energy will enter your house and mix up with the positive energy.
Keep a bowl of dry rock salt in the toilet room little up in the window if you have, this salt will absorb the negative energy and if possible hang a mirror on the toilet door on the outside.
