--Answer--"orthostatic hypotension"

Hi #20928,

Your question: What I was describing results in "orthostatic hypotension" Or simply that your blood pressure drops when you stand up from a reclining position. As the pressure drop your body compensates by increasing heart bpm. Say if I was lying down and measure 120/80 @ 65bpm, once I stand up the BP will drop to 90/60 @ 115bpm.

Answer: Let us examine what you are repeating that someone else has Claimed, to see just how much Deception it may contain and or How this idea may be Mis-leading our thinking?

When a person gets up the Brain then gets Higher than the rest of the body, thus requiring the Heart to Beat Faster to try to increase the Blood pressue to still supply the Brain with enough Oxygen?

If the Adrenals do not or cannot do their job of increasing the Heart beat Fast enough to supply More oxygen to the brain, we then may become Dizzy from a lack of oxygen to our Brain?

Blood Pressure meds may Prevent the Adrenals from doing their job of signaling the heart fast enough to Increase the Heart rate?

If we are not on Blood pressure meds, then Weak Adrenals may add to this problem, but the problem of Weak Adrenals and Blood Pressure Meds is Much worse?

Initially our Blood Pressure may go down in the upper parts of our body and may increase in our Lower body parts as we get up too Fast and our Heart rate may increase with this appearance of Lower Blood Pressure in the upper areas of our body?

But, as our Heart rate increases enough, this may also raise our Blood Pressure again in the upper body parts' like our brain?

When our Adrenals are not able to function as they should we may see More Lag between Blood Pressure and Heart rate?

This problem may be made Worse with the use of Blood Pressure meds?

Cause and Effect !

Smile Tis your choice.
