Re: high dose Nitazoxanide for blastocystis hominis?
Symptoms are basically intermittant diarrhea or constant loose stools, and chronic fatigue. I took the expanded GI test from DiagnosTechs. I have good D levels, haven't tested for Bs (but take take methyl folate and methylcobalmin sources in case).
Tested negative for heliobacter pylori, C. Difficile, Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Toxoplasma, Ameba histolytica, Roundworm, and tapeworm.
Below are the issues/positives, including gluten intolerance, for which I changed my diet.
CS1: Candida +3
GP2: parasite: blastocystis hominis - many
GP3 Bacterial stool culture: Overgrowth
MB2: Low Intestinal Immunity, SIgA = <11 (low <400)
MB4: AACHY. Inflammation in small intestine
FG1: low digestive enzymes
FI4: Gluten intolerance. The score of 11 is quite high
when you adjust it for the very low SIgA of <11.
TRIC: Tissue worms (trichinella)
